Taking up half of the 4th of 5th floors of The Trust building in Uptown Charlotte, the city’s most expensive condo is on the market for a cool $4.5 million.
Luxury At Every Turn
This 6,583-square foot home just underwent extensive renovations and boasts amenities only seen in your wildest dreams. Initially slated for $2.3 million in renovations, but plans were eventually scaled back to $1.7 million. Cut from the plan? A snake tank, monkey cage, and giant aquarium.
However, even without those features, the home still has plenty of creature comforts. Inside you’ll find your standard 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The perks come in the form of a 500 gallon two-person, ergonomic tub that is filled by an overhead waterfall. There’s a standing shower with two extra large rain showerheads and six inline sprayers. It also has speakers all controlled by an app on your phone. The shower also doubles as a steam room.
The Master closet is fitted with cygnus granite from Brazil and houses the washer and dryer. Which is both brilliant AND convenient.
A Structural Marvel
Requiring special contractors and an engineering expert, the home features a 2-floor living room with a 24’ ceiling. To achieve this look, contractors had to cut out chunks of concrete from the actual structure of the building. This created concern within the Home Owners Association about whether the building would collapse. The plans were approved after extensive studies and planning. This open concept mezzanine was born!
Exquisite and glamorous details can be found in every nook and cranny of this condo. It’s no wonder that it’s the most expensive condo in the entire city. What do you think… is it worth the estimated $19,000 per month mortgage payment? Comment below!
